FLXO is a thinking tool for soft-robotics exploration. It is a platform consisting of modular interlocking pneumatic muscles that easily integrate with other robotics kits on the market. At present FLXO is designed to integrate with the VeX robotics platform.

Taking inspiration from simple origami structures that can be printed on any desktop 3D printer, this approach enables users to rapidly iterate and fabricate their soft actuator designs and share it with the rest of the soft-robotics community.

Currently, individuals interested in exploring soft robotics face the arduous task of designing, fabricating, and sourcing materials.
